Company Profile

Complex Engineering, Inc. has been incorporated since March 1989 in the State of Michigan. Since then, we have established an excellent reputation in the test equipment industry by providing innovative solutions for many types of production, durability and quality/audit test systems. The scope of our design and build capabilities range from very large power train component test stands to small bench top instrument testers. We also rebuild existing equipment to incorporate new measurement and control design upgrades.

For over 20 years we have supplied equipment directly to defense agencies, defense contractors, major automotive manufacturers, and other industrial component manufacturers with whom we have established an excellent reputation. Many years ago we incorporated and maintained a MIL-I-45208A quality program. Although no longer an active government program, our quality procedures remain in place while we complete ISO 9001:2008 certification.

Our staff has worked together for many years with all the disciplines represented. All of our engineering and design personnel hold advanced degrees. Complex Engineering is fully knowledgeable and experienced in the following:

  • Machine tooling and fixture design
  • Hydraulic and pneumatic systems
  • Electrical equipment design and panel build
  • Programmable Logic Controller (PLC) based equipment
  • PC based controls and data acquisition equipment using high level languages
  • Special electronic circuit design and packaging

Over the years we have established good working relationships with several fabrication subcontractor supply sources to perform basic construction services. This allows our staff to be dedicated to the critical engineering and operational equipment functions. This also helps us keep our operating costs to a minimum so we can provide very competitive pricing to our customers. All design, programming and final testing is completed in-house.

If your company is looking for a reliable, experienced and cost effective test equipment source, please contact us and we will be pleased to discuss any current or future testing requirements you may have.
